The story of the construction of the Eiffel Tower is going to be told in a brand new documentary called ‘Eiffel, la guerre des tours’, directed by Mathieu Schwartz and Savin Yeatman-Eiffel, which is set to make it’s premier on August 21st.
According to the official synopsis: “Behind the emblematic Eiffel Tower lies the story of a French challenge launched at the end of the 19th century: to build a tower a thousand feet high. The project was part of the period’s radical transformation: iron versus stone, engineering versus architecture. We rediscover this race to the heights.”
