Director Sylvie Verheyde’s movie, the PG-13 hit dramedy film that was an official selection at Locarno 2022, ‘Stella est amoureuse’ is set to make it’s official premier on TV5MONDE this upcoming Sunday.
According to the official synopsis: “In the 1980s, high-school student Stella spends her first-ever holiday without her parents, who are in the process of separating. Back at school again, she reveals her nights the Les Bains Douches, a Parisian nightclub where she fell head over heels for a boy she met there…”
“For Stella, it’s her final year. But she says she doesn’t care! That year, she discovers the famous Parisian club, the Bains Douches, 80’s and its crazy nights. Her friends are just studying, her father has left with another woman and her mother is depressed. And then there is André who dances like a God… That year will decide her whole life. She pretends not to think about it… ‘
The film stars Flavie Delangle (Stella), Marina Foïs (the mother), Benjamin Biolay (the father), Louise Malek (Gladys), Agathe Saliou (Marion), Claire Guineau (Clara), Dixon (André), Léonie Dahan-Lamort (Sophia), and Paul Manniez (Max).
